Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

After I attended a First-Aid course, I thought it would be a good idea to pass on how easy it is to find and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Just put “defib finder” into your search engine (Google, Edge etc.). Click on “Where is my nearest defibrillator”

Click “find a defib” Red box appears at the top asking “Is this an emergency” if it’s not click the Green box “otherwise continue” A map of the U.K appears. In the top box enter your location and the map then shows you where the nearest ten Defibrillators are located to where you are.

If you need to use the defibrillator the machine talks you through how to use it, once you have switched it on.
